THE SHAKEDOWN are a band that have achieved more than most unsigned bands on the circuit could ever have dreamt about.

In the past 4 years they have:

Played to sell out crowds at Glasgow Barrowlands & Edinburgh Corn Exchange
Played 2 European tours
Toured up and down the UK on a regular basis - playing every and any venue they could find
Had air play on both national (Radio One, XFM) and local radio (BBC local, Wyvern FM)
Are currently working with the BBC shooting videos for future DVD releases

The new EP is selling faster than anything else they've ever released and they're already back in their own studio writing and recording the follow up!!

And all of this was achieved through guts and determination from 4 individuals that love playing their music to anyone and everyone, and for the majority of the time it’s all without the help of management, an agent, record label or publicist - sound glamorous??? Not when you find out all this was achieved by living in a converted Ford Transit van for nearly the whole time they've been together!
